Urgent Care Services
Urgent Care is defined as sudden and unforeseen, medically necessary treatment normally received in a doctor's office, but because of the time or because of your physician's advice, is obtained at an Urgent Care Center.
Please call Hometown Health's Health Hotline, where you can speak to a registered nurse who will help determine which course of care is best for you or your family. Health Hotline is available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 775-982-5757 or 888-324-3243.
Emergency Room Care
An Emergency is defined as the sudden and unexpected onset of a condition that requires immediate medical attention. If such condition is not treated, it could reasonably be expected to result in serious bodily injury or death.
If it is an emergency situation, go to a contracted provider hospital Emergency Room if you are within the service area, or to the nearest hospital Emergency Room if you are outside the service area. Please pay your applicable copayment, deductible, or coinsurance at the time of service.
Please notify Hometown Health's Customer Services Department within 48 hours of discharge from the Emergency Room so we may ask you important questions about your Emergency Room visit.
