Find information with HealthConnect

Delivering superior healthcare services in northern Nevada depends largely on the accurate and timely exchange of information. Physicians can rely on HealthConnect to fill this need.

HealthConnect is a computerized communication network that enables physicians and their office staffs to find and exchange information quickly with Hometown Health.

For New Offices that would like to request access to HealthConnect, please click here.

To add a new user to an office that already has HealthConnect, please click here.

More information with a new look and feel

Physicians and their staffs can now accomplish in minutes tasks that previously took hours and involved intensive review by provider office staff members, masses of paper, and lost time waiting for fax machines.

With HealthConnect, providers can use the Microsoft Internet Explorer Web browser to search for and view information. Provider office staff members have access to:

 Claims

  • View and sort claims and eligibility information for the past 180 days
  • Select claim information by date of service
  • Filter and look up claims data and view it by patient name, account number, claim number, referral number or check number
  • Query on the status of a submitted claim
  • View and print the Explanation of Benefits (EOB)

Referrals

  • Submit Requests for Authorization electronically
  • View referrals for their office

Eligibility

  • Filter and look up eligibility status for all Hometown Health and Senior Care Plus members
  • Determine correct copayments and print that information

Provider Directory

  • Have online access to the Provider Directory, containing addresses and contact numbers for all physicians contracted with Hometown Health, Senior Care Plus and Primary Care Associates.

 CPT and ICD-9 codes

  • Filter and look up CPT and ICD-9 diagnosis and procedure codes

HealthConnect is provided at no charge to the provider office by Cynthus Advanced Technology Group. To use HealthConnect a provider office must have access to the Internet and Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5.
